I'll admit I'm not one of those guys who ties up each and every loose end, and I'm good with that--in lots of ways, I'd rather have you tie up some of those loose ends in your own mind. So, in general, if you ask me "What happens to so-and-so?" or "Why did you use the word coil on the third paragraph of page 247?" my answer is generally going to be a question that gets thrown back in your lap:

What do you think?

And I'm pretty much okay with any answer you give.

The Unseen

My question is, what was the point of the character named Swarm? He was creepy, true, and the idea of wasps swarming about someones head and going into his mouth was very disturbing. But, why was his character needed other than to say he was the one that taught Lucas. The other characters were all made to be what they were, but started out as someone else before being brainwashed. Who was Swarm, before he became Swarm?
Why did you need his character? Pat

Swarm

What do I think? I think I knew you were going to say, "what do you think" and that is annoying. Now shape up and tell me. Pat
