Hiya.
Just a note of thanks for taking the time to do this. Am contemplating a similar blog so my friends and family can follow my progress.
I have B-Cell Non-Hodgkins, but thats all we know so far from a biopsy.
I found my "tumour" while in the shower. Its big. It's in my Leg, and it seems to have appeared overnight...although it likely festered for awhile.
I've had a couple of X-Rays and two CT Scans and they tell me everything looks contained to the nodes so far.
Reading about your ordeal gives me great hope.
My Surgery is next week (Feb 23rd).. and after that I have no idea how the treatment will begin or how long I have to wait...(I'm in Calgary, AB...and our health care system is somewhat "broken" here...mostly because there just arent enough doctors for the population.)
But I chuckled aloud and the similar reactions...right down to "googling"
