Hi Tony, I read your blog/diary because I found it after my many hours of searching the web about the "L" word and seeing countless pages of really bad stuff. My brother was just diagnosed last week (9/08) and I haven't heard from him since. He had his oncology appt. and we're all waiting to hear back while respecting his need for privacy and relaying info 'in his own time' and style. I just wanted to say how much your diary helped me as a reminder that in any medical situation we have an obligation and requirement to take control and become smart about our own conditions. The big C is so often equated with death whether it be sooner or later (with the later being after much demise of mind and body when there's really nothing left) but you have given me hope in sharing your journey and incredible outcome. I hope to pass this on to family members as we plan for what's ahead. I'm so happy to hear when someone beats this awful monster. Thank you, thank you. Stay healthy.
