You hit the thinking exactly, Jamie. Thomas Nelson wanted to "mainstream" my covers a bit more, so they don't emphasize the horror aspects of the books so much as the suspense aspects.
Me? I'm good with being the creepy, dark guy. But I totally agree with my publisher's attempts to broaden the audience.
