Army Life, In the Flesh
A
ccording to a CNN story, Lieutenant General James Helmly says the Army needs to change its attitude toward Reservists, or it will see a mass exodus of reserve soldiers: "(The) Army Reserve needs to get the message across to reserve soldiers that 'we value your service and we're not going to run this like a doggone flesh farm.'"
Maybe I'm wrong, but the term "flesh farm" obviously means something different to me than it does to the Lieutenant General. At least, I think it does.
If it doesn't, I'm signing up for the Army Reserve tomorrow.
